The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped, the only criticism we would make would be that it would benefit from a downstairs toilet.

Overall a nice cottage in a great location for walks and visiting castles, Roman remains and other visitor attractions. Home cinema a great plus, particularly for a winter visit. Spacious lounge and bedrooms. Garden would be good in the summer. Only disappointing thing was the small and rather tired kitchen with a small oven/fridge for a cottage for 6. Worth noting there is no longer a pub in the village - listing incorrectly shows one in walking distance, and village shop small with limited hours and stock.
