There were four adults on this short break and the Hayloft was perfect for our needs. A couple of points I could mention. The heating was obviously on a timer which we didn’t have access to. As the weather. Was good we found it so hot in the cottage that we had to open windows which defeated the object of having the heating on. Also it would have been useful to have some kitchen foil or containers to pack food in as we took picnics out each day. However it was probably down to us to provide those. We didn’t take a photo of us inside the property but took some outside one evening as the sun was going down. Beautiful .

Warm, cosy and clean cottage. Wendy the owner very friendly and helpful. Always available if needed. Grounds stunning. Our black Lab (Benjie) enjoyed the grounds. We would recommend The Hayloft to family and friends and we with return in the near future.

Very comfortable and clean accommodation. Had everything that we needed for a very pleasant stay. Was in a remote location however not too far from the local amenities.

The cottage is very nicely presented with modern kitchen and bathroom and all rooms clean and well furnished. The cottage is located down a very narrow lane away from any noise and light pollution. One annoying point was a 'creeky' double bed that unfortunately disturbed our sleep.

We arrived at the hayloft and were greeted by Wendy who was lovely. She couldnt have been more helpful. The cot we had requested was leftout for us and there was even a highchair which came in very handy. Very nice touch of tea coffee milk and biscuits left in the kitchen for us to use.The hayloft itself was spacious and very clean and in a lovely setting. Everything you could ever need utensil wise was in the kitchen. The gardens were beautiful and very spacious and my daughters loved playing in it
