Beautiful spacious barn conversion thoughtfully designed and set lovely rural environment. The kitchen, eating and sitting area were fantastic. Nobody felt on top of each other . Children loved seeing the cows every day but the highlight was the pool. Good selection of games too. We did not need any other nearby amenities to amuse the children. but walked to Lower Lode and enjoyed the ferry ride and meander to the abbey. The Malverns and Ledbury in easy reach. Would certainly stay again.

Warm, and comfortable cottage. We stayed too early in the year to use the pool but it looked great. Good snooker table and Table tennis room. Lovely countryside around Forthampton and Tewkesbury - although some public footpaths we found blocked and styles overgrown. The Aga took some getting used to and if you need to use the sofa bed (as we did) be aware that it's position has no easy access to a bathroom except through two doors and an open-air walkway. Despite these small drawbacks we had a great time at the Stables.

Response on behalf of the owner; Thank you for your comments. With regard to the position of the sofa bed, we would point out that there is a double futon much closer to the bathroom in question but this affords less privacy than the location of the sofa bed.

The Stables is really lovely, a beautiful converted barn with lots of space for our family of 9. The pool table was a great success!

Wonderful spacious accommodation for our family pre-Christmas get together. It was mild weather the week we stayed and the central heating was so efficient we didn't get a chance to try the woodburning fires. We loved the snooker table inside the property. Table tennis was available but was situated in an outbuilding so, as it was damp, we didn't play. Huge bedrooms, excellent cooking facilities and plenty of sofa space. Couple of negatives were the wetroom plumbing...prepare to be all fairness, the owner did point this issue out to us but it does need resolving. Secondly, the smaller sofa by the TV in the main living area needs replacing. Lovely rural pub a mile away, by the river. Tewkesbury is very pretty, is 5 mins away with Aldi and Morrisons. We visited the Christmas craft fair and market....delicious farmers sausages, especially the lamb and mint. Excellent location for the Gloucester Docks, Worcester.. great Cathedral... Croome Park NT. Lots of fabulous walks from property. Would recommend x

Excellent house for a family celebration. The sitting room was a little scruffy but, as we had two babies and two dogs with us, that suited us very well. The bedrooms were all very spacious and the snooker table was a good facility.

An amazing cottage, location fabulous to visit loads of local places/towns, lots of info baskets there from the owners which were really useful. Lovely dog friendly pub by the river about 30min walk which does lovely food. Cottage was so well equipped, probably the best we have stayed in, layout really good for families/groups as its kind of split into two halves, including another tv area and games rooms which is brilliant. Only negative which in no way spoilt anything is that the sofas are all a bit old and tired and didn't provide any support for the older people in the group so maybe need changing. But everything else was superb and am already thinking about returning with the family for a Christmas break. Owners were so helpful, thank you for letting us stay, fab time had by all

An amazing place with so much to do. Our party ranged from 4 to 70 and with a swimming pool, table tennis and snooker table, we were on the go from morning to night. The only slight downside was that we had no internet for most of the week due to a fault.

Space and set up of the house was very good. As a barn conversion the walls and ceilings were particularly thin and noise transmitted a lot through the house. The house was not very clean and in our opinion needed a good clean. we knew we had a shared swimming pool with the owner but were disappointed one day when the owner asked to reserve the pool solely for him and his family, as it was the hottest day of the year and we had 5 children with us, we phoned the letting agent and he retracted his request, we made it very clear we didn't mind sharing with him as per the terms of the agreement. On our arrival the owner apologized for the bad smell in one of the bedrooms and bathroom, this didn't get any better as the week went on so we complained, he then got a drainage expert to check out the drains but it made no difference, we lived with a not very nice drainage smell in one of the bedrooms for the whole week.

We had a fantastic time here. It really is a gorgeous place. We were 8 adults and 5 children. Perfect for hide and seek...making big group meals (and sitting down to them together), having a bbq, jaunts into town or countryside...etc. Some can chill in the lounge while others play pool, or play in the pool!!! The pool was a HUGE bonus. Loved it. Warm, clean, so much fun. Beautifully planted around the outside. Good security to prevent accidents. The only downside are the two bedrooms in the part with the pool table. The whole section of house is great - pool table and seating area etc. The upstairs room is beautiful but if a couple wanted to stay there, there are only twin beds'd need to be comfortable enough to want to use the loo in front of each other!! (Well, behind a screen). The downstairs room is a very generous size but it feels a little bit odd with two outside doors. Also a faint whiff of manure crept in a couple of times (a reminder you are in the country next to an active farm)! Overall we really loved it. Would definitely go back again. Thanks!
