The stables is stunning the reason I gave an 8 for location is that you need a car to get about. It was perfect for our stay but a taxi ride to Ely is 20 pounds

Lovely rural cottage. Only negatives are there is no bath, you have to walk through one of the twin bedrooms to get to the master bedroom and it would really benefit from a patio area and garden furniture at the back of the property to sit out and watch the amazing sunsets.

A very desirable location and holiday cottage/bungalow. Well equipped and comfortable with space to move. Near to tourist attractions but rural location so using own car is essential.

The property is described as detached which it is not. The owner has a large consulting room attached which is occasionally used in her therapy business. The location is second to none, and the gardens large and well-maintained. The kitchen and lounge are both very spacious and light and well furnished. The one bathroom (for up to 6 people !) is in the centre of the property and some way from the bedroom area. The bedroom layout will not suit everyone. Bedrooms 1 and 3 are fine and private, but you must walk through bedroom 2 to get to 3.

We had a wonderful time at The Stables. The property is situated in an idyllic location which is only a few miles from the nearest town, but, at the same time, is remote enough to give you that sense of ruralness. The property was immaculately clean and there were plenty of 'extras' that one would not normally find in a holiday cottage - both in terms of things to do (the children loved the exercise bike!), and in terms of the consumables like having plenty of tea bags and toilet paper. And our hosts were friendly but respectful of our privacy. Best thing about the cottage - the sunsets. They were amazing!

Absolutely wonderful place. Definitely would go back there without hesitation. We were so impressed with the whole cottage and everything that was in it. The owner could not have been nicer and even presented us with a bottle of wine and card on Christmas Day.
