The 'cottage' was much smaller than we had anticipated; how a family with small/young children would cope in such a cramped environment I don't know. I was concerned about the 'legality' or health issues with regard to the bathroom and lavatory leading DIRECTLY off the kitchen and food preparation area. It was clean and reasonably well equipped but the oven proved almost impossible to use due to lack of racks and trays. The armchairs/settees were very uncomfortable and set so low I had difficulty in using them as I have severe arthritis in my knees. The dining table had to be moved in order for four people to be able to sit round it but when it was pushed back to where it was when we arrived you cpuldn't access the cutlery and crockery cupboard!

The Stables is a wonderful cottage ,in a beautiful location and we very much enjoyed our stay . The only slight things l would say would be that the fireplace hearth stuck out a little and was easily tripped over and the road was pretty busy in the mornings and evenings when walking the dog along to get to the foot paths ,other than that near perfect :)

Cosy, warm and comfortable. An enjoyable break for all, especially for our 15 year old collie! Thank you.

Absolutely delightful, cosy and with a unique character. Temperature of the shower a bit erratic.
