Great place. Lovely homemade jam and eggs provided for us. Left alone to enjoy our holiday. Wifi worked brilliant (this is not usually the case) and at no extra cost. Lovely to sit out and enjoy a morning cup of tea.

Had a lovely short break @ the Smithy , was pleasantly surprised by the overall comfort and finish of the cottage in a beautiful part of Kent and a great location to visit most of the Kent coast line. Bevan family Romford.

Very nice little cottage. Lovely area and relatively easy access to south east Kent. Well equipped and very toddler friendly. Only negative was a heavy feather duvet for the double bed. Overall we had an excellent holiday!!

A very cosy, well equipped cottage, a good place to get away from the world. Our only disappointment was the weather.

We had a relaxing, enjoyable holiday at the Smithy in late May. The single storey accommodation was spotlessly clean and tastefully furnished. The lounge/diner had very comfortable new seating and a large flat screen TV, whilst the spacious bedroom had a very restful king size mattress. There was plenty of hanging space, though positioned a bit high for the vertically challenged! The kitchen had a new cooker and was well equipped, whilst the second bedroom's bunk beds will probably be a hit with younger children. With the famous Bodsham exchange telephone box just outside (try Google), the Smithy is surrounded by a network of quiet, leafy, often single track lanes, easily mastered with satnav. With more local walkers than vehicles, it is within easy driving distance of the Kent coast, National Trust, English Heritage and other attractions. The owners, Kevin and Emma, are friendly, unobtrusive but on site and very helpful.

Good weather and plenty of places to visit within a short driving distance. The cottage is in a very quiet village, a peaceful spot and excellent for getting away from it all.
