We booked The Smithy as a last minute break. So pleased we found it!!!Our children loved the bunk beds & in fact the whole cottage. It was spotlessly clean & attention to detail was brilliant. There wasn't a garden as such but outside seating, this wasn't a problem to us as we were out all day.It is tucked away in a little village, however within easy reach of bigger villages with shops etc.Would highly recommend & would happily stay here again!!

    Response from:

Response on behalf of the owner; Many thanks for the kind comments and scoring. Just to clarify the Smithy has a garden which comprises two patio areas each to the side of the property (connected by the rear of the property) as shown in the photos, one for sunrise and one for sunset, both with flower beds and garden furniture. There is also a south facing open lawn area to the front of the smithy, also shown in the photos.

A superbly comfortable and spotlessly clean cottage. Kitchen was equipped with everything you could possibly need, shower was spot on and beds were comfortable. If you're looking for a cosy getaway I highly recommend The Smithy

Great place. Lovely homemade jam and eggs provided for us. Left alone to enjoy our holiday. Wifi worked brilliant (this is not usually the case) and at no extra cost. Lovely to sit out and enjoy a morning cup of tea.

Had a lovely short break @ the Smithy , was pleasantly surprised by the overall comfort and finish of the cottage in a beautiful part of Kent and a great location to visit most of the Kent coast line. Bevan family Romford.

Very nice little cottage. Lovely area and relatively easy access to south east Kent. Well equipped and very toddler friendly. Only negative was a heavy feather duvet for the double bed. Overall we had an excellent holiday!!
