We enjoy walking, and the walks were just what the doctor ordered. For those who are wildlife aware, this location is ideal. For those, like us, who didn't know about the secret beauty of North Essex, give this a go. If like me you are short, this wagon will give you no trouble. If you are taller and can remember to duck, go for it. If you are exceptionally tall, you should avoid staying here!! The conversion was fascinating and beautifully done.

We had a very peaceful week which is what we wanted. Saw various wildlife including a small Fox, 4 Badgers(Take your own peanuts for them) and even had a baby Wren sat in the doorway. The wagon itself is a lovely place to stay and sleep came so easily with the country air. Cannot praise John enough for the work he has done in restoring the wagon...must have been a labour of love ! We will definitely hoping to stay again in this wagon or one of the others he has restored. I only put 5 for amenities as there only seems to be a small cart in the village, one of the residents was selling eggs there. The pub in the next village has closed and its a few miles to the next one and village shop.
