Although Dunbar was a bit further out than we'd hoped for this cottage was fabulous. Well appointed, well maintained, totally accessible and well equipped for a wheelchair. Kitchen had all you needed for a family of 6, maybe a few more mugs would be useful. We were made to feel very welcome and all our needs were met.

This is a spacious well equipped cottage with a beautiful garden. The location is great with lots to do within a ten minute drive. We'll definitely be back

We loved our stay at the cottage. The facilities were fantastic and the cottage was immaculately clean with a stunning, well-maintained garden. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were lovely and clean and the access for disabled guests is second to none. The surrounding area is quiet and beautiful, with good access to North Berwick and Dunbar, and a short easy drive to Edinburgh. The only tiny niggles were the heavy fire doors which were very difficult to open from a wheelchair (although I imagine these are a legal requirement) and the non-negotiable early check-out - getting going in the mornings can be a struggle for some disabled people and it was hard to have everything prepared by 10am. We would rather have not been able to check in until 4pm and had until 11am to check out. However, these were tiny things in what was, in general, a perfect stay, and we'll definitely be returning!

A lovely well looked after and maintained cottage and garden, advised to have your own transport but everything within reach. Great for visiting Edinburgh and the surrounding area owners were very helpful would plan to stay here again when visiting the area.

The cottage sits in an especially attractive rural setting with well kept lanes and fields all around. You do need a car for easy transport but amenities are a maximum of 4 miles away. Sadly no walkable pub or shop but there are lots of open space as a consolation. Friendly knowledgeable owners who showed us around the house to ensure we knew where everything was. Lovely large garden that was well kept and full of interesting plants. House has been completely renovated to a high standard with a huge kitchen that was great for cooking and socialising. No problem having 6 adults here as there are 3 bathrooms and plenty bed space. For a large cottage it was always cosy and warm to the extent that we only had the log fire on once. Everything worked in the house from door locks to light bulbs but the owners live close and are easily contactable if there were issues. In short this is one of the most pleasant cottages I have stayed in and would return again without hesitation.

A very pleasant bungalow with full disable access. Lovely gardens and space to dry clothes as necessary. Accommodation was very flexible. Repairs were always dealt with very quickly by the owners - toaster and WC syphon.

Cottage as last year was very clean and tidy. Well equipped. Slightly isolated if you did not have a car as nearest amenities are in Dunbar.
