Very nice. One of the best I've stayed in. Only thing missing for us was a teapot! Thank you :-)

A pleasant and comfortable holiday cottage in an ideal location for visiting the many tourist attractions in Teesdale and beyond. The cottage was clean and well equipped and within walking distance of some good eateries, coffee shops and a local Co-operative supermarket. The shower room was a little cramped and parking was a bit of a free-for-all on the roadside but this wouldn't deter us from the possibility of booking again.

Delightful little cottage. Felt at home straight away. Nice little village & a good base for exploring the area. Would definitely return.

We booked the cottage for a fishing day out at grassholme reservoir plus we wanted a quiet detached place with a cottage style and a log burner . We went to the foresters for a couple of drinks was full but nice atmosphere locals were friendly nice place with added bonus of a fish shop we unfortunately never got chance to try and a handy cooperative near by only downside was parking getting a space on the road as cottage had no parking with it ,but lovely school house would go again really comfortable and clean and had everything you could want

We enjoyed our stay at The School House. It is a very comfortable and clean holiday cottage. Tastefully decorated too, and a comfy king-sized bed in the bedroom.

Great spot, lovely accommodation and village. Please be aware if walking locally with a dog that the cows are very aggressive I have broken ribs to prove this. Do not go in fields with cows in. Other than that it was great.

A great cottage in an ideal position with very easy access to the village but in a quite location, also good walking routes from the door meaning that the car can parked up and left for the duration of the stay.

Close to centre of North Pennies Market town....ideal....save for description of access to property. locals kind and helpful; excellent eating places nearby; and we achieved all that we needed to by way of visits to towns, countryside and walks nearby. A very pleasant time had by both of us.
