we would definitely stay here again. Such a lovely, well thought out cottage perfect for our family. The owners were very friendly and on hand to help in anyway needed. Everything we needed was included as well as being in an ideal location for many fantastic days out. Would definitely recommend to a friend.

I would definately stay here again... a fabulously clean and well equipped cottage. The owners live on-site and were very welcoming, they checked in on us once when we first arrived but other than waving as we passed they left us to enjoy their cottage in peace. The cottage is in a lovely rural location with amazing scenery and footpaths right on the doorstep.

Lovely holiday despite the cold weather. Lots to do in the area, couldn't manage it all in 7 days. The owners were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive.

The rumblings is a beautifully located cottage. You are both in the middle of nowhere and 20 minutes from the middle of Sheffield. The views are stunning and the interiors are simple but modern and stylish. We got a good night's sleep in the beds from night one, although watch out for the rooster in the morning! Importantly for the peak district out of summer, the heating works well and the cottage is cosy. The hosts were friendly and well organised. We had a really good time.

A lovely cottage within easy reach of bakewell and Castleton. The cottage is well presented and spotlessly clean. Excellent facilities apart from the small sofas which were not particularly comfortable to relax on. There was also a rooster in a field nearby which caused us to wake at 6am most mornings. It would be a great cottage for a family holiday.

We had a wonderful week in the Peaks. The cottage was comfortable, modern, finished to an extremely high standard and spotlessly clean. It's location was perfect for exploring the national park and places like Chatsworth and was only a 10min drive from the amenities in Chesterfield. We really couldn't fault it.
