In the heart of Buxton, this beautiful second floor duplex apartment is set within a Grade II listed building and has been beautifully finished with superb attention to detail. Exuding space with generously sized separate living and dining areas, the apartment has been furnished with classic masterpieces such as Duresta sofas and the finest 100% Egyptian cotton bed linen. Wonderful roof top views across the old spa town, famous for its diverse architecture, can be enjoyed, and the famous Edwardian Buxton Opera House is located just opposite, and is a fine example of this. Next door to the Opera House are the Pavilion Gardens, 23-acres of award winning ornamental gardens and home to over 100 diverse fairs and events each year.

Buxton itself is bursting with visitor attractions, and the helpful owner can offer help and advice on fishing, golf, brewery or gliding experiences. Just beyond Buxton is the well known and loved Peak District National Park with its natural contrasting beauty that spans four English counties. Outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy endless amounts of walking and cycling, through peaks, moors, hills and dales with a number of fascinating market towns and pretty villages, such as Eyam, Castleton and Bakewell, easily accessible within half an hours drive. The magnificent historic houses of Chatsworth Estate, Haddon Hall and Lyme Park can all be reached in around 30 minutes and for golf enthusiasts, Buxton is home to Cavendish Golf Club which, as a MacKenzie course, is recognised as one of the finest in Britain. Wincle Brewery is just 20 minutes away. Finally Buxton’s train station is just a 5 minute walk from the property and offers a direct service into Manchester in around an hour.

Bedroom 3: With twin beds, 32" TV, exposed beams and Velux windows.

    We really enjoyed our stay at The Regency. The appartment has been refurbished to a very high specification and is very comfortable and immaculately clean. We really appreciated tea, coffee, milk, cereal, butter etc provided.

    A truly fabulous apartment that I could not fault in any way! It is beautifully done up, spotlessly clean and very comfortable and in an ideal location. There were two couples plus two children and the appartment was very spacious with all mod cons and everything we could possibly need. We all agreed it was the best self catering place we have been in. We were given parking permits and parked right outside the appartment and didn't use the cars again for the rest of our stay! Lots of great places to eat and drink in Buxton, and it was lovely to be able to wander round the park next door. The children loved the play equipment there and all the space, as well as the miniatures model boats out on the lake there on Sundays! It was such an enjoyable stay in a wonderful appartment and we are all keen to return. Our thanks to Jane for all her help and for making it such a great break.

    A lovely long weekend away. The owner couldn't have been helpful. We really appreciated the little touches, for example milk, orange juice and wine in the fridge on arrival. We would definitely go back and can't recommend it highly enough.

    Fantastic apartment, beautifully decorated and very well equipped. Perfect for exploring the Peak District as well as having an abundance of amenities on the doorstep.
