Description

Be inspired here! A spacious and stylish period property with fine dining nearby and a wealth of Cotswolds gems to explore.

The Red House is an ideal choice for those seeking high quality, stylish and spacious holiday accommodation in a most convenient location. Accessed through a well-stocked garden with sunny patio area, it forms the first and second floors of one of the Georgian shops which line the wide and beautiful High Street of Moreton-in-Marsh. Enjoy a pleasant meal in the conservatory, preceded by an aperitif in the charming courtyard – a peaceful retreat from the light bustle of this market town – or try out one of the fine inns and restaurants which lie just a stroll away. All of the Cotswolds is close to hand, with Shakespeare’s Stratford and the castles of Warwick and Kenilworth within easy reach. Shops 100 yards.

External staircase to first floor: Spacious living room with electric fire. Conservatory/dining room with French doors to garden (via steps). Modern Shaker-style kitchen. Double bedroom. Shower room and toilet. Second floor: Double bedroom with 5ft bed. Twin bedroom. Bathroom with over-bath shower and toilet.

Lovely relaxing weekend break. Gorgeous country cottage in a great setting in the heart of the beautiful Cotswolds. It is located on the Main Street with everything you need on the doorstep. Great shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants and more.

Lovely cosy cottage/apartment. Home from home. Great for a short break away exploring Cotswolds area, but Moreton In Marsh has plenty of pubs & restaurants so didn’t need to drive out on evenings. Love to return

The red house was great. It was clean and felt so homely with its cottage style furniture and accessories. The kitchen was well equipped and also had a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher. The owners also provided lots of extras including fresh flowers, milk, tea bags, etc. This house is not so good for people with mobility problems as it needs to be accessed by some steep stairs and the settee and chairs are very low and uncomfortable the sit in and get out of if a person has back problems. Overall, I would highly recommend this super, spacious home and would love to go back there.

Lots of space inside, very small garden, not suitable for small children because of metal stairs leading to house, nice to have milk in the fridge & cake also shampoo freely available

Enjoyed a delightful stay in The Red House and would be happy to return. The location is excellent, the house has everything you need and is very comfortable. I loved the upstairs conservatory. The owners are really helpful and sent excellent information on local bars and restaurants and answered any queries promptly.

The Red House proved to be a perfect location for our family gathering, offering plenty of space for six adults - we never felt on top of each other and really appreciated the conservatory dining area. The bedrooms were spacious and beds comfortable. We felt the garden/patio needed a little tlc, and the 'recyling area' could be tidied up (the outside area is not as pretty as the photos suggest!) The easy parking right outside the property was very handy. The steps were very slippery when wet and could be an issue for someone with limited mobility.
