English Country Cottages

An inspiring collection of properties chosen for their character, luxury and heritage, all graded 4 star and above.

This romantic escape offers all you need for a luxurious stay and is perfectly placed to explore the stunning unspoilt beaches.

A well-appointed wing on the owner’s property, The Pump House stands proud and has been thoughtfully appointed with large feature windows that offer views across open countryside. Less than a mile from the sea and all the many activities offered in Hunstanton, yet tucked away in a quiet spot, you will really feel that you have escaped from all the stresses and strains of daily life. Stylishly decorated and furnished, The Pump House offers everything needed for a romantic escape but, if you can tear yourself away, you’ll find a coastline scattered with unspoilt beaches, pretty villages and great places to potter, shop and eat. City lovers can explore the Hanseatic port of old, Kings Lynn, or the medieval city of Norwich, while those seeking a quieter pace can enjoy Wells-next-the-Sea, with its narrow gauge railway that takes you to the beach and its quaint mix of artisan and traditional shops and cafés. Bird watchers will of course be spoilt for choice, as will walkers and cyclists. And, if you’re looking for all that with a touch of luxury, The Pump House is the perfect place for you. Beach ¼ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 500 yards.

Fantastic accommodation, everything to the highest standard and beautifully presented. Only one drawback is very weak wifi signal, but that's not a problem if you want to get away from it all

Very clean and comfortable accommodation in a lovely and peaceful setting. Good location for exploring coastal towns and we enjoyed walking the Norfolk coastal path direct from the cottage.

Beautiful accommodation in attractive peaceful area. Cottage fully equipped, everything thought of. Would have preferred bathroom on same level as bedroom but wasn't big issue. Highlights were the wildlife that visited the garden each morning, including deer, guinea fowl and a hare. Away from noise n bustle of town but only a short walk into Hunstanton and the beach.

This is a lovely cottage to stay in, it is well presented and contains everything you would need. Although being split over 3 stories, it perhaps isn't suitable to anyone who struggles with stairs. It is in a nice quiet location, but still convenient for local attractions and provides a great base to explore the area from.
