Cosy, clean, tidy, comfortable, and with everything needed for a convenient stay. Lovely quiet location, handy for the South Downs Way. Historic Uppark Estate just down the road. Owner helpful and friendly without being intrusive. Well-stocked local shop at the bottom of the road. Ideal for our three-day break!

Cottage was quite cold as there was a cold wind through the property, not very well insulated. Carpets were not very clean and we even found a dirty diaper under the coffee table. Location was nice and tea shop next door was lovely.

This is a charming cottage in a wonderful setting with fantastic owners, nothing is too much trouble. We travelled from Germany to stay here and loved every moment.

Nice friendly greeting from Rob on arrival. Nice spacious cottage and comfortable furniture. Lovely location and perfect weather. All in all a great short break and we would stay again if we return to the area.

Used as a base for walking, visiting friends and visiting the Historic Dockyard at Portsmouth, this was an excellent choice.
