Not inexpensive, but then in a peachy location for Bath. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. The approach is through a former Council estate but the property itself at the end of a rather twisting estate road is fine and the view to Bathford over the valley hugely charming. The canal tow path provides flat cycling and walking access to Bath about 40 minutes by foot. Parts were closed during our stay for resurfacing, but this will be over soon.

Unusual location but excellent views and a very comfortable and well-equipped cottage. Friendly and helpful owner. Good local bus into Bath.

The cottage was conveniently located for visiting Bath with the benefit of a regular bus service into the city. The cottage was also in a quiet, peaceful location which meant we got a good night's sleep after our busy days of sightseeing. Had we been there longer we would also have enjoyed taking advantage of the canal-side walks. The cottage was an ideal size for two and much more spacious than many we've stayed in with a particularly large kitchen.

The cottage was lovely, cosy and very warm as it was raining all week this is a most. We went to the George pub as everyone said it was really nice food, however when we went the food was over priced and under cooked we had see through chips and under cooked eggs. Apart from the pub it was a lovely holiday the Paddock is really close to everywhere. Would definitely stay again. A++++

We had a good time at Bathamton, the local pub was only a five minute walk away and the meals there were very good and varied. Had some lovely walks from the cottage, one into Bath along the canal towpath, one the other way alongside the canal and back through the woods. Bath was enjoyable, visited the Roman Baths and the Botanical Gardens. Drove to Bristol and saw the SS Great Britain.
