We'd booked the cottage for 4 nights for a short break for our Wedding Anniversary. The acommodation itself was fine, apart from a bit of maintenance required. The heating had a reluctance to work. It was pretty cold during our stay, and coming back to the cottage late afternoon it would take about and hour and a half to get a radiator warm , and in a morning to get up it would go off about an hour after putting it on! We did report it to the owners. The outside areas need a great deal of maintenance, and there is no parking directly outside the cottage as had seemed to be intimated on the listing. This was awkward for my husband who is partially disabled. As stated there are no local amenities, but this didn't bother us in the slightest, we did however pick the worst time after snow and heavy rain which made the narrow lanes difficult to drive on, at any other time these would be good walking territory! We did also find that 3pm in the Winter was a bit of a late time to take possession of keys, but we knew that in advance so we can't grumble.

It was as expected but I have stayed there before but not for some time and it was in the larger barn. Mr And Mrs Keasley are good mine hosts.

A hideaway retreat fairly near to the coast and local places of interest.Narrow roads for car enthusiasts with some flooded areas. No shop or pub within walking distance but walking nearby for dog owners.Very quiet and peaceful with a nice aspect.

The bathroom was due to renovation and far from clean. The location was quiet and rural.

This was our fourth visit to The Orchard which I think speaks for itself. The location is ideal for a peaceful break and the surroundings are perfect for our two dogs. Can't wait for the next beak.
