We had a wonderful stay again - this is the third visit. The cottage is light and airy, has a fabulous view and is comfortable and well equipped. It's in easy reach of very interesting places to visit as well.

We have stayed at the Old Wainhouse several times. It is very comfortable, well equipped and in beautiful countryside. We are two couples so having two bathrooms is good. The only real downside is not having WiFi which seems to be patchy and erratic in the area. The cottage is spotlessly clean. This is a brilliant walking/cycling area or a good place to relax and explore the lovely villages and pubs. If antiques or 'vintage' are your thing there are plenty of shopping opportunities! We would recommend it.

This is a very well-equipped comfortable bungalow suitable for my elderly father who needs a walk-in shower and prefers not to climb stairs. The kitchen is provided with everything needed to cook simple meals including fridge, freezer, microwave and dishwasher. The property is in a quiet and picturesque location with local walks around it. It is not far by car to several very attractive towns and villages including the Cathedral City of Hereford. It is also close to fine National Trust properties at Croft Castle and Berrington Hall.

Good accommodation in lovely rural setting, good location, comfortable only let down by a very poor shower. We tried to remove the build up of lime scale which marginally improved the flow, really a new shower head is required.

Had a very relaxing week, views from windows and watching sunsets to die for. Well equipped and lovely touch plenty of logs for an open fire on those chilly evenings. Location superb for visiting local black and white villages and Elan Valley and red kites in Rhayadar is a must visit. Will definitely be returning.

One of the best cottages we have stayed in. Double bedroom a wee bit cramped but it is only for sleeping in. There is no internet access and mobile phone reception was patchy but that made us relax all the more. It's easy to find as well which has been a problem in the past.

I suffer with Arthritis so the only problem I had was with the lounge furniture, which was very low for me. otherwise I loved the farm location and general surrounding area and pace of life generally.

This was just what we wanted. A good, comfortable stay in a lovely cottage; plenty of walks on the doorstep and plenty to explore in the surrounding countryside.

What a wonderful place, clean and comfortable beyond belief. The only downside for us was my disabled mother who decided to be poorly during our holiday. As it is a little out of the way it made it difficult to do much. I will add though that this is exactly what my husband and I wanted so it was perfect. I believe my dog enjoyed it the most. So much area for her to run around and she made friends with the owners dogs who came to say hello every morning. The owner was the most pleasant person i have met in years. Lovely walks that my husband and I went on with the dog each day. Even saw a deer on one walk only a few meters ahead of us.

A lovely comfortable cottage in a stunning location and for the dog and ourselves some lovely walks to enjoy. Very dog friendly and safe. Nearest village Pembridge which is well worth visiting and within easy walking from the cottage. Only criticism and didn't spoil the holiday, but could do with an umbrella to shade you from the sun when sat outside. Also in all the other cottages we have enjoyed there were some small items left to welcome you, but not even a tea bag or coffee here.
