Perfect for two, cosy - the underfloor heating was a luxury. Stunning view across the Loch A lovely Christmassy welcome. We spent a lovely Hogmanay, peaceful and quiet. Good walking, although we kept fairly low because of the floods and storms. Enjoyed our visit to Benmore Botanical Gardens and the walk through 'Pucks Glen is a must. Will most likely go back, maybe for the Highland Games, We had a warm welcome for the parishioners of Kilmun Church and morning coffee. Well done Mrs Harvey.

Great place for two to stay. Garden not secure for dogs. Would be simple to fence off better to keep dogs off the road. Very entertaining being next to the pier, with people fishing, Sammy the seal, seabirds, submarines, and the Waverley visiting as per timetable. Loads of great walks nearby, plus fab views over the loch. For good food etc shop, return to main road, turn left towards Dunoon, then stop at garage with shop on the left. The Benmore Botanical Gardens is a great place to visit and eat. Dunoon museum interesting too.

We spent a lovely week in September at The Old Ticket Office. The cottage was immaculate and obviously very well cared for. The location is wonderful the cottage sits on the shore and the views are incredible there is outdoor seating provided if the weather allows. There is plenty to door in the area and The Benmore Botanic gardens is worth a visit. The local pub is within walking distance and there is a lovely coffee shop and gallery opposite the cottage. We would definitely recommend this cottage and hope to return in the future

whilst being on the loch was lovely, there were no facilities near the cottage. The bed is as hard as a rock and gave me such a bad back that I needed to visit Boots for treatment.

    Response from: Administrator

Response on behalf of the owner; I was disappointed to hear that you had an unhappy experience which as you will know is a most unusual situation. Supplying a bed that meets with the comfort of over 100 different guests each year is indeed a challenge as comfort is such a personal matter. I stayed in the cottage just last week and had a comfortable sleep throughout. However I take on board the comments made and will upgrade the bed in the next few weeks.

Amazing stay again!! We took our 5 month old this time and she loved it. The cottage is fantastic and location beautiful. Everything you need is provided (no baby things but that's not a problem) and the views are amazing. Plenty to do in the local area. Great walks and bikes rides. Very relaxing and a must for a getaway. Will definitely be returning.
