Excellent place for a countryside break. A well stocked shop, excellent butchers and two pubs within a stones throw. Recommended.

Had no contact with owner, either before, during or on leaving. No one answerd phone and no answer machine to arrange pick up of keys. Also to note for people with pacemakers or ICD,s the hob is induction.

we were really pleased with the old tea room, and the village as a whole, everthing in the apartment was great apart from getting to grips with the the oven grill.but that is only a very minor quibble, everyone in the village was very welcoming, the pubs served top ale and the food in the temple bar was fantastic and I would recommend the old tea room to anyone seeking a place to stay on the English/welsh border.

Accommodation had everything we needed, well furnished and equipped. Village very good with two pubs, a really well stocked shop and a fish n chip shop. Countryside around and about the village was beautiful. Good location for a week long break.
