Lovely house takes you back in time, close to lots of places to see and the beach. Great place for taking the dog for walks. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay again.

We stated 28 Dec to 4 Jan - cottage is a lovely looking place, but needs total renovation to make it a really good place to stay for a week. Lounge is old fashioned needs new sofa & carpet. Bedrooms are fine and beds are very comfortable and heating is adequate, although bathroom needs vast improvement, sink required in here and not in bedrooms, and proper shower would help to avoid using hot water tank reserves, running baths each day was not ideal and bathroom heating was inadequate. Kitchen needs total refurb, freezing cold and not a nice place to stay in for long? Mr Cox is a pleasant owner and was on hand should we have required any help, his gardens were beautiful and may have been a better deal to have stayed during the summer time as opposed to winter to make the most of it. Would I return, possibly not, would I recommend, again possibly not.
