A lovely little cottage, tucked behind the owner's house and so sheltered from the high street. It was warm and had all of the gadgets we needed plus broadband. The cottage was smaller than we expected - two of the three bedrooms are tiny singles and the small upstairs lounge is the only public room. There is only on-street parking and not always nearby.

This is a lovely cottage, we went in September, and apart from one day had good weather, however unfortunately at his time of year the sun was never on the little garden that goes with the cottage , so even though we had some lovely sunny afternoon s / early evenings we could never enjoy them with a glass on wine as it was chilly, another downside was there was no welcome basket,( always a nice gesture) it did get very hot upstairs as previous people had said .. But a good overall base. Very good local shop, with friendly staff, and lovely local, product

A Wi-Fi service would be very useful as I had no phone reception at all in Winster. But apart from that we had a fabulous week in the Peak District.

A really good three bedroom cottage - compact but well arranged, warm and very comfortable. (Occupants who go to bed at different times could be disturbed by others upstairs in the living room). We enjoyed many walks, including in the snow - and we loved the Community shop. And the Bowling Green pub.
