We had a very comfortable stay at The Old Stable. We arrived earlier than expected, but Suzie very kindly asked us in and we enjoyed a up of tea after our journey from Durham. The cottage was as expected, first class. There is plenty to see and do nearby, and we enjoyed visiting Blenheim Palace, Witney, and some of our favourite places from previous holidays in the Cotswolds. I had retiered from work the previous day so this holiday was the perfect way to start my "Retirement"

Suzi is simply wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble. There is a beautiful welcome basket of goodies. It's like stepping into bliss as no wifi or mobile signal which for me was fantastic as I could totally relax and unwind in the evenings. The cottage is beautifully set up and the area was stunning. I am so blessed to have stayed and I'll most definitely return in future. Thank you Suzi you are awesome :) xx

Had a very enjoyable, relaxing long weekend to "recharge my batteries", a lovely homely cottage with all amenities, a surprise welcome basket and bottle of Presseco; loved the decked balcony with views of the birds and squirrels. No WiFi but this suited me, lovely countryside and easy to visit places. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area and would recommend. Thank you for a relaxing weekend x

Excellent accommodation in a quiet location. The cottage is well equipped and near to Oxford, Blenheim Palace and many other places to visit. The village does not have amenities, but these are only a few miles away. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

An excellent place to stay, and the welcome basket is exceptional - makes you feel exactly that, welcome. The house has been very well converted, given its size, so that you don't feel cramped at all. The single sofa is a bit restricting for two, although it is hard to see how you could have anything bigger. The balcony is a super idea, and works really well. The house is well equipped with everything you could want (except lids for the pans, which we mentioned) and perhaps some more thought could be given to window coverings, as you can feel a little exposed. These are quibbles however, it is a very well designed and managed cottage. Personally I would have liked to have Wi-Fi (especially as we had no phone signal) but I do realise that not everyone will feel the same. We had a very enjoyable week, in a very nice village.
