Beautifully converted from a traditional stable and barn, this holiday cottage stands on a smallholding just outside the village of Hope Bowdler on the edge of the Shropshire Hills in an AONB. Visitors enjoy shared use of the 44-acre grounds and there are two well stocked coarse fishing pools available to experienced anglers by prior arrangement. Church Stretton, with good sports amenities, shops, restaurants and pubs is within 2 miles and glorious 6 mile Long Mynd, with gliding, is nearby. Within easy reach are Ironbridge Visitor Centre, Acton Scott Working Farm Museum, Stokesay Castle, Shrewsbury and Ludlow. Walking, bird watching, and golf locally. Pub 1 mile.

All on ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen with beams. 1 double bedroom with beams. Shower room with toilet.

Electric woodburner in living room included. NSH, electricity and bed linen included. Electric cooker. Microwave. Shared grounds. Parking (1 car). NB: There is an unfenced pond in the grounds.

    Fantastic - well placed for visiting N/T properties and other interesting venues - quiet and peaceful - The Long Mynd so close - wonderful!

    A bit difficult to get to the pub by foot due to busy road but apart from that an ideal base for walking in the Shropshire hills.
