Really enjoyed the holiday, the old school house was a lovely place to stay, kitchen and bathroom were newly refurbished and were high quality! On the downside we have a 3 year old and the house was not safe for young children, the garden gate did not close and went straight onto a busy road. Additionally one window had no lock on and there was a 20 ft drop that my little one could easily have reached! The owner did quickly rectify the window lock. Minor gripe was also the kettle was broken and the microwave was damaged. Overall though was a lovely place and when the kids are a bit older would definitely go back.

Enjoyed our stay. Cottage well equipped, clean and cosy. Peaceful and quiet. Good base for travelling and visiting places of interest even though some narrow country lanes!

Great accommodation with only downside being a drive to anywhere and anything.

Beautifully decorated, very pretty cottage, and immaculately clean. Basic food stuffs were provided and book shelves full of interesting books. A lovely place to stay.

A charming cottage in a lovely peaceful village. It would have been nice to have towel rails in all of the bedrooms. There were 4 of us so we couldn't all leave our towels in the bathroom and there was nowhere to hang them in the bedrooms so that was a bit of a problem. There was a 'house book' but no instructions in it re using things in the cottage. It seemed to have an intruder alarm but we didn't know how to use it. There were various leaflets scattered about in different drawers but surely these should have been in the 'house book'. Could also have done with some more knives in the cutlery drawer. We kept having to wash knives to keep us going throughout the day before putting the dishwasher on in the evening. Nevertheless we had a lovely holiday and enjoyed exploring the surrounding area. A bit difficult re parking if you have 2 cars.

Really loved the cottage but would have like better instructions regarding the house and instructions when leaving. Assumed we didn't need to strip the beds as didn't say in email?? Hope this was ok that we didn't. Some info regarding the local area would gave been a nice addition. Would definitely stay again.
