The cottage was lovely, very well equipped and very comfortable. The owners had left us some milk which was thoughtful and very much appreciated. We had a great weekend in Worthing.

The cottage is very conveniently situated for places of interest in this West Sussex area, with Worthing town center and sea front just a few minutes drive away. We made use of the little group of shops close by, and to have the excellent park across the road where dogs can run off lead is a great asset. In the cottage there are books in the bookshelves, and games and toys tucked away for any younger members of a family. The kitchen, although not large, was well equipped with considerable thought, and throughout the cottage were little touches that all added to making it a welcoming 'home'. The wonderful log fire at the end of the day was a real bonus, all adding to make the week just a little bit special. I hope the cottage and its history will be preserved for many years to come, for many to enjoy as we did.

Very comfortable and the best equipped kitchen we have ever had! Excellent location for many attractions. Only criticism is the main living room is very dark - better lamps would make all the difference

Nice property but was very dark and the property was in need of a handyman to put lots of annoying problems right.Double beds were very old and one had a saggy mattress and the other bed had springs that dug into your back.

Lovely olde worlde cottage, just as you would expect from something which is 300 years old - huge fireplace, low beams, bags of character. Very good location for exploring the surrounding area by car - Portsmouth, Arundel, Worthing Seafront and pier (highly recommended). Well equipped kitchen and lovely big dining table. Owner Nick is very attentive and friendly. We will definitely return!
