This is without doubt the best holiday cottage we have stayed in. Spotlessly clean, lovely touches with flowers, biscuits, milk etc all provided. In spite of some wet weather we managed several walks straight from the cottage. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage, it's a gem.

The Old School was a really warm, comfortable cottage. There was a very short drive into Kirkby Stephen and the lakes and Yorkshire Dales are very close. We loved our visit here and wouldn't hesitate to stay again. The local pub, The Bay Horse Inn deserves a special mention as the food, drinks and hospitality are excellent.
