The cottage is very appealing with a particularly good complement of utensils etc. It was very useful having a small yard where we could let the dog out. Portknockie is a very quiet but beautiful location. We enjoyed the bird watching and eating the outstanding fish and chips from the local chippy. My only criticism would be that some of the fittings are rather tired. Both toilet seats were not fixed to the toilet properly and the fridge handle is broken.

We had a lovely time at the cottage. The weather was very changeable but it didn't spoil our holiday in anyway. I have mobility issues and find stairs difficult. However the fact there was a toilet downstairs was a big plus for me.

I can't fault this fabulous place, the cottage is very well equipped with everything you need/want and more, it's very clean and beautifully presented, I'd love to live there myself. The location is stunning with fantastic walks along the moray coastline. We will definitely stay there again.

Lovely holiday home, nice shower upstairs very good to have 2bathrooms. Small niggle no shaver point in bathroom so unable to use electric shaver or re charge toothbrush.

In common with all fishing village cottages the windows are small and the outlook limited. It was fine for a few days but for a longer stay My personal preference is for a property with more light and a view. TV and internet were okay. We barely used the kitchen as we ate out most of the time.

The 4 of us loved every minute, the cottage was beautiful, as soon as we turned the key and walked in, felt at home, would definatly recommend this place, beautiful area as well and nice wee towns round about to visit. 10 out of 10😀x
