This wonderful, former post office is in the perfect location to explore Hampshire and the surrounding areas.

This lovely, cosy cottage, formerly the village Post office, is located in a delightful and peaceful hamlet, only 300 yards away from a country pub serving fine ales. The area offers a friendly village atmosphere and the local shop and post office is run by the local community and is open three days a week. Ideal for couples or small families, The Old Post Office has plenty of opportunities to enjoy a lovely scenic walk right from the door. There are golf courses nearby, and great fishing in the locality along the River Test.
The thriving market town of Andover, rich in history with Saxon links, is just 7 miles miles away and offers many shops and leisure facilities, or try one of the history trails nearby such as Andover Time Ring. There is also a train to London Waterloo, or visit Salisbury with its beautiful cathedral and the Magna Carta. Other popular places of interest include Finkley Down Farm, The Museum of Iron Age, Stonehenge, Weyhill Hawk Conservancy, The Army Flying Museum, Thruxton Races, Wilton House, Longleat House, Stourhead and The New Forest. Romsey, Southampton, Bath, Cheddar, Wookey Hole, Beaulieu Abbey and Motor Museum, Marwell Zoo with Peppa Pig World, and Winchester with its cathedral are all also within easy driving distance. Mudeford Christchurch and Bournemouth with its beaches are just over an hour away. Beach 20 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 300 yards.
