A comfortable and cosy cottage, ideal for our family of five. We have been to The Old Post Office twice now, and will definitely be back. There are a lot of things to do and lovely places to visit near Eccleshall. The cottage is very clean and well equipped.

The Old post Office was a good base for visiting relatives in Stafford. Well presented and equipped cottage.

Excellent property with lots of lovely little details. Comfortable and clean. Close proximity to Eccleshall but some lanes are a bit narrow. Beautiful walks around the Mere. Excellent pub next door.

We have stayed at The Old Post Office three times now and it is an extremely comfortable, warm, well appointed cottage. The log burning stoves are perfect for cold, winter evenings, the lounge has extremely comfortable sofas, there is a great dining room, the kitchen is quite small but has everything you could possibly need, but as the kitchen is open plan to the conservatory room with further seating it is still a very sociable area. The downstairs toilet is a great addition! The bedrooms are all very tastefully decorated, with extremely comfortable beds and bedding. There has always been at least tea, coffee, milk and biscuits ready for our arrival - and fresh flowers is a lovely touch! The location is great, tucked away and quiet but next door to a pub that serves excellent food and couldn't be more convenient! On each occasion we have spent a day at the local Moddershall Oaks Spa - which is definitely to be recommended!

A lovely cottage, very well equipped with everything you will need, comfortable and spacious. A great location for exploring the area. Road noise was not a problem, and the pub did not disturb us either.

We have stayed here several times and just cannot fault it. The usual aspects of cleanliness position and equipment are all excellent but the owners of the cottage go beyond that to make us their guests feel welcome. Its the homely touches of fresh milk flowers biscuits or cake that really make the difference. I wish your ratings went over and beyond a 10 because I feel the Old Post Offices certainly deserves an 11

Stayed at many holiday cottages and the 'Old Post Office' rates amongst the best. The friendly pub next door was a bonus. A good location to explore the interesting towns, villages and canals all within easy driving distance.

A very well equipped and comfortable cottage. The road which is very close would not suit families with very young children as the traffic did go by quite fast and there is only a small garden back and front. But this did not bother us greatly having older children. The local pub is just feet away (I even went in there one night with my slippers on) and serves some very good real ales.

Worst holiday accommodation my family has stayed in. Very dirty and outdated and definitely not worth the money. Full of spiders and webs. Leaking conservatory. Wardrobes smell damp. Heating/hot water controls are outside. We left or holiday early as could not suffer 1 more night in that cottage. Would not recommend 👎🏼
