very pleased we found this cottage. just what we wanted- a cottage full of character in a quiet rural location. the cottage and the local scenery are beautiful and full of history. only neighbours are the friendly, helpful owners on the farm. located about 1/2 mile down a farm track but only about a 25 minute drive to matlock and bakewell. would certainly go again.

Fantastic cottage, lovely place to get away from it all, very comfy beds, well equipped kitchen, cosy and warm, lovely free range eggs left for us by sue and Steve who were most helpful and informative, the ideal place for a relaxing away from it all break.

A wonderful rural setting, just what we wanted for our stay in the peaks. A ten minute walk from the front door and you're on the High Peak Trail. The area including the Old Farm House and Roystone Grange is steeped in history. The cottage was everything we expected and more. A cosy, well equipped home from home. Definitely one to go back to!

This was a wonderful cottage in a stunning location. It had everything we needed for our week away and it was a great place for dogs. It was well located for seeing the Peaks District. Would highly recommend.
