A nice peaceful remote cottage but down very dark narrow lanes.

The cottage was lovely to increase my mark to the full 10/10 I think it needed a few little changes but overall it was a great Base for a lovely holiday. Everything we wanted to do was within an hour. The owner was lovely and came to check we were happy and was quick to look at a problem with the washer/dryer. Few improvements.... 1. Remove or reduce bushes in garden as that would give families more room to play it is such a large house but children had little room in garden for fun at home and bbqs etc. 2. Add a washing line so families could dry washing more eco friendly 3. Find a way to reduce the noise between the two cottages as the music coming from the other holiday home was very loud into the bedrooms it was like we were in the room with the music...the bedroom walls need sound proofing as it did disturb sleep. 4. There is absolutely no mobile phone signal so in emergency no way to call out it would be worth offering a pay phone facility on site if possible. Overall though fantastic house, great for walking, days out with family and had almost everything you could think you would need with two families of 4 and plenty of space. Great value for money. Would happily stay again thank you for letting us use your lovely house!

An ideal cottage for 3 couples and 2 children. Very comfortable and well equipped in a lovely peaceful setting. Well thought out layout plenty of seating and comfortable beds. Good to have 3 bathrooms but I would have liked a shower in the en suite. Lots it things to do in local area for all ages

Wonderful location and surroundings. Great layout of accommodation for our needs. Only downsides were - cleanliness was not as good as expected (downstairs bathroom needed a good scrub around the bath and windows). Frying pans past their best and were not nonstick - we recommend replacing.

We had an excellent time at the Cottage. It was secluded, lovely place for dog walking, and very family friendly. For our stay, there were three families that stayed, and there was ample of room for everyone. The patio outside was also good, and enabled us to have a BBQ in the evening. A lovely get away place for a relaxing time. Love to go back again

Very enjoyable stay, and the owners were helpful while leaving us to enjoy our break uninterrupted. Cottage was comfortable, equipment we needed was all there, and generally suited our needs. The owners had left materials for the log burner which was lovely. It is very out of the way so having a car was required for provisions, but also there are several taxi companies in the area who all seemed pretty good. The walk into Selborne village is nice and takes about 25-30 mins. We had a Sunday roast at the Selborne Arms there, which was excellent.
