Great cottage, just what I was looking for to celebrate a big birthday with friends. The cottage has everything you could possibly need for a big group...and the dishwasher was a fantastic bonus! The only slight downside was the hot water running during the morning showers, but it only took about 20 minutes for more hot water to become available. It was about a 30 minute walk on a designated footpath to the local pub but it was muddy so I recommend walking boots/shoes.

We very much enjoyed our stay. There were six of us. If there had been more, it would have been difficult for someone sharing the double bed upstairs to get out of their side of the bed, due to the sloping ceiling. But this would be unavoidable as the bed could not be positioned elsewhere in the room. The house was very well equipped and the owner was most helpful and pleasant when I phoned her a a few days before we went to the property. We would like to go there again. All in all a very positive experience! Thank you!

Well designed property that takes full advantage of the space available within the converted farm building, and all reasonable facilities are provided. It is clean, airy, comfortable and furnished to a high standard. There were 5 bedrooms - 2 upstairs with shared bathroom, 2 downstairs with shared bathroom, and one downstairs with en-suite facilities. There is a very nice outside seating area should the weather be favourable. The cottage is situated out in the countryside and is very quiet.Although it is on a working farm, there was no disturbance around the property during our stay. The surroundings are not quite as open as the photograph suggests - access to the lake is via a slightly circuitous route through a field. There was one minor blemish - the en-suite bathroom was bath only (no shower) and, because of the lsightly odd tap arrangement, also had no facility for hair washing.

The cottage is in a lovely location but it is a semi which was not made clear in the description so there was noise next door and signs saying to keep quiet (hard with two young children) The cottage itself was nice enough if you don't mind it being very dated lots of mould in the bathrooms. There is a hole in the kitchen floor and beware putting rubbish out as there is a hole where the bins are and my husband sprained his ankle badly there luckily was the last day of the holiday.

Lovely location and perfect for our onward daily travel to a trade show. Plenty of room and local pubs for entertainment. Would certainly go back.

Advertised as luxury but fell well short. Bed not fixed together so broke. Repeated twice but not fixed, meant sleeping on the floor. Mould around sink and shower. Rusty metalwork in bathroom. Hole in kitchen floor, floorboard loose and very squeaky.

We stayed for a long weekend with our adult kids attending a nephew's wedding. We also enjoyed visiting Hinton Amper, Selbourne, and Jane Austen's house afterwards. The Old Dairy had excellent accommodation and facilities and was beautifully situated.

Absolutely fine for our weekend Christmas present to the "children" In the short time plenty of fishing, walking and talking done. It was good that we were able to bring our dogs as they of course part of the family and the grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed themselves, with plenty to do. Everything was to hand in the kitchen and the enclosed patio area was good also.

A very well equipped cottage which made the stay feel home from home. Our party of 6 was very satisfied with everything and the location was perfect for visiting our family and friends. As a bonus local attractions such as monkey world New Forest and coastal areas was a short trip away.
