First of all I want to say how impressed I was with the communication from Jane the owner who gave me a phone call a couple of days before our holiday to confirm we had received the email directions for the cottage (we had). When we arrived we were greeted by Jane herself and immediately we realised how proud she was of her cottages (rightly so) we were shown around and she asked if we had any questions and that we only had to ask or phone, I've got to say this was really welcomed be ourselves as it made us feel like old friends rather than just customers - a welcome change to the usual folder/leaflet approach favoured by many owners. The Old Dairy is a superb place to stay with everything we could want or need, the location was perfect for us as we were primarily there for my daughter's exam revision with peace and quiet and no distraction the order of the day although we still needed and used the occasional internet access for the kids. On the morning of departure we again were greeted by Jane who asked if we had had a good holiday, again a lovely touch - as a family of four and a dog we will no doubt be booking the Old Dairy again. I can honestly say we loved our time there and I'm sure whoever stays there will agree.

We really enjoyed staying here for a week. The current owner bought the cottages in November 2015 and has refurbished them to a high standard. Everything you could want is provided and attention to detail was very good. The owner is extremely friendly and helpful and ensured that we had everything we needed. The cottages are closely located to a pretty village which has a pub and a takeaway and a major supermarket is a short drive away. I would definitely recommend this cottage as a great place to stay.

It was lovely being back at the 'new' Old Dairy, we loved the changes and the attention to detail. The accommodation was immaculate, redecorated throughout and improved on an already high standard. We love the place, it's ideal for touring and visiting the many local attractions and is peaceful and quiet. Looking forward to returning in the future!
