This former coaching house is presented to a very good standard and is situated in the centre of St Austell with easy access to all public transport including the railway station. This is an ideal holiday location for visiting the Eden Project, 4 miles, and the Lost Gardens of Heligan, 6 miles. There are numerous sandy beaches and coves to choose from and wonderful coastal walks. The historic harbour of Charlestown and picturesque fishing village of Mevagissey are just a short drive. Shops and pubs 200 yards.

    Fantastic place to stay 5 minutes to bus and train station really nice owners the accomadation was amazing very comfortable bed it has everything I would give it a 100 out of ten and would use again

    Very well presented property that was spotless and well maintained. The proprietor was a superb host and very accommodating with our arrival time. Really nice welcome pack, which would have kept us afloat for any essentials we would have forgotten to pack and good local amenities, with pubs and restaurants within a few minutes walk. Pleasantly surprised with the location of the local train station on the doorstep, because we couldn't hear any noise from the track and despite not normally travelling by public transport we used this to travel to local destinations and found it superb value for money. Located in own grounds at the bottom of the owners property, but totally private and self sufficient. Access to the private gated entrance is by small lane approximately 30 metres long. It does have pot holes but if you take your time there isn't a problem, which more than compensates for having private gated off road parking. We had a really nice winter break here and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property to family and friends.

    Very spacious and spotlessly clean. The building is at the foot of the owners property but feels very private. The access road is a single track alley road between the rear of each row of houses and is extremely pot holed. There is little opportunity and space to maneuver your car in and out of the access / parking area of the Coach House but the parking area itself is well maintained. You also have large gates that you can use to lock your car in and aide privacy. There is underfloor heating downstairs in the seating area but this does not extend to upstairs which can get very cold. The owner supplies a plug in heater and electric blanket for ur comfort. The mattress was very comfortable with a deep mattress topper. The hob is a ceramic hob which may take getting used to. All areas of the home were very spacious and really nicely finished. The owner met us, showed us around the home and had left a welcome basket of bread milk biscuits tea and coffee spread and a bottle of wine. The WiFi is not reliable and we ended up using an alternative supply than that provided. The train station is literally 5 mins away and really very useful, with the centre of town 10 mins away.

    Very clean and comfortable, nice welcone pack to get you started. Nice couple that left you alone but there if needed .

    From the moment you walk in, you feel relaxed. The welcome pack one of the best we have had. Everything you needed for breakfast and a welcoming drink when you first arrive. The bath and the walk in shower was a nice idea. Loved the freshly cut flowers on dining table Thank you Mr and Mrs Walker, highly recommended. Thank you so much.

    Superb accommodation, great secluded position yet only 2/3 minutes to bus and train station. Could not fault a thing, one of our best holidays ever.

    A good central location for exploring Cornwall. Access road at the rear full of potholes, however, smoother parking spaces at the front. A lovely touch of a welcome hamper thoughtfully provided helped us settle into this "home from home" cottage.

    Great holiday with cottage central for most attractions. bed the most comfortable ever- amazing and no sore back at the end of the week! Only saw the owners on arrival, cottage very private. Only down side was the appalling state of the road in and out. Not suitable for sport or low cars. Although to be fair owner did offer option to park across the road and walk down through their garden. It wasn't a problem for us but perhaps worth knowing.

    Nice, cosy self-contained cottage. Close to shopping precinct with Lidl just a stone's throw away. Secure parking facilities for the car. St.Austell is nicely situated as a base to do daily excursions.

    We enjoyed our time in the cottage, because the minute you walked it had a welcome feeling. It was very central for bus and train station, our car stayed parked up for the week and we went everywhere on bus or train, Newquay Truro and Fowey was just some of the places.
