We had a realy nice stay at the old church. The road beside the house was no problem. Very nice view out of the "wintergarten" (at any time and weather). The equipment of the house is also sufficient.

One of the nicest cottages I've stayed in. Skye is beautiful and it's easy to access it from this cottage with mountains on one side and the sea on the other. The cottage has all the facilities I needed and the fire was lovely. I had a great new year.

I really enjoyed staying there. The cottage is just lovely and the view ... amazing! The only downside would be the Main street directly behind the cottage, but I didn't mind, it wasn't really noisy.

This is a very characterful property which is full of interesting bits and pieces. The overall location is excellent. The micro location less so due to the proximity to the busy road, - we could have worked that out for ourselves and it is appreciated that not much can be done about this and it really wouldn't be a problem for people who are out and about during the daytime. The property is well equipped and there is a nice welcome and excellent info provided by the owner. We were comfortable and the only things that would have made it even better were the wind direction not blowing the smoke back down the chimney which meant we had to abandon 2 fires, and, not that we are used to 'endless' hot water, - a bit more of it would have been nice! These comments are not criticisms, - we don't live in luxury at home but we do like to have facilities equal to our home when we are on holiday. We were not particularly lucky with the weather and probably spent more time in the property than most people do. We enjoyed our visit to Skye, met some lovely people and ate some wonderful food.
