Beautiful barn conversion, well maintained and perfect for 2. If it had its own washing machine it would be better, but owner took our washing and returned the next day. Peaceful location, but be warned you may have zero phone reception and no wifi. Need. To drive to shops and restaurants. Would stay again for sure.

Excellent cottage in fantastic location. Spotlessly clean and well equipped, it had everything you could need or want. I would highly recommend The Old Cart House to anyone wanting a holiday in The Cotswolds. I cannot fault it in any way.

We had an amazing stay at the Old Cart House. It was so relaxing. Carol's fruit cake was a lovely welcoming touch and we had enough fire wood for our 4-day stay. The only tiny thing we would say is that if you wish to have a shower at the end of a days walking then make sure you use the immersion booster. The cottage has been beautifully decorated throughout and has everything you need for a perfect, cosy get-away in the Cotswolds.

the cottage was in a location that had the combination of a countryside setting but was within a village and was therefore not isolated. the cottage combined an old fashioned look with modern facilities. The fire was wonderful, the shower amazing and the upstairs open layout was very cosy indeed. The cottage was clean and in immaculate condition and there was great attention to detail including a delicious cake.
