Great bijou snug escape...shared drive and parking area can be busy...This time we had gate replacement and repairs, log delivery and shifting, daily maintenance work, window cleaner (unannounced!). But still a pleasant few days R and R...any shops and attractions are a good drive away, but food pub (Kings Head) good atmosphere and excellent pasta and pizzas, not cheap! ...Same time next year?

We had a lovely time. The cottage was wonderful, charming, full of character and had everything that we needed. The Old Bike Shop is in the ideal place for exploring the surrounding areas such as the New Forest and Southwold.

Property supplied with everything you could possibly need. Comfortable and interesting building dating back to the 15th century. Lots of interesting sites/places to see. Recommended for a couple.

Because this is a dog friendly cottage (we are not dog owners) the rug and floors were quite grubby- the kitchen needs some tlc also. It was however very well stocked and because we had lovely weather we were able to sit in the garden morning and evening.
