We had a lovely stay in this beautiful and very quirky cottage with all the home comforts you could think of. The occasionally freshly laid egg collected from the coop was a nice little extra as was the welcome tea and cake on arrivel. We went there for the Hever tryathlon but it also is a very nice area for walking.

The Old Barn at Bolebroke is beautiful inside and out and the garden is fantastic. We saw lots of wildlife in the garden including over 30 species of bird and at least 3 species of bat. It was an absolute treat to stay in such a lovely cottage and the owners are very friendly and hospitable. We hope to return soon.

Loved our stay at the Old Barn. A very friendly welcome. We enjoyed the chickens coming to the door each day. You have to be nimble to access the dressing room and bathroom in our room but we managed with no banged heads! Nice location for walks and good local pubs. Our only minor problem was the poor condition of the access road and bridge.

Very beautiful location and loved the geeses and chickens. Eggs and cake were greatly appreciated. Beautiful quirky cottage but my sons are tall and hit their heads several times. The dog loved it. Wendy was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Ashdown forest is beautiful and we loved walking in the areas that were inspired by AA Milne. Played Poohsticks on the famous bridge (take your own sticks as none around the area. ) The local pub serves excellent steaks on a Friday night at reasonable prices and a free drink! Farm shop over the road from the cottage is a real treat.
