A lovely, large cottage in a lovely village. We felt secluded yet we were within walking distance of a great, dog friendly pub, a shop, and walks all around the village.

Excellent base. Great accommodation for three generations. The only thing lacking was a bottle opener!

After a very long tiresome journey (due to road works, accidents etc) We found the Old Bakery an exceptionally clean, homely and well presented holiday cottage, although we did notice that perhaps the cottage needs a little attention, there was a cracked window in the lounge, curtain tie backs missing etc, and despite a radiator missing through a leak the owners kindly left an electric fire should we have required it. Very evident it is a lovely place to stay though, shame on the limited amenities however we can highly recommend The Anchor pub and Restaurant, excellent food and great service.

Our second stay at the Old Bakery. It suits our four generation family group ideally with its location, ground floor bedroom and spacious enclosed garden. An interesting area to explore with two welcoming pubs and a general store all within easy walking distance. Ely is a fascinating place, Cambridge only half an hour away (on a good day / time) and the local Nature Reserve is well worth a visit.

We had a wonderful time staying at this beautiful and cared for cottage, and exploring the local area. We particularly enjoyed breakfast each morning in its pretty garden, which our boys adored. Would love to visit again.

Third year we've stayed in this lovely cottage. My son lives in the village and its nice to take the family and visit him. The only things that can be improves is a larger pedal bin indoors and more fridge space.

A great place to stay to explore around Ely, Cambridge and Newmarket. Lots of places to walk the dog and a lovely garden to chill out in. The accommodation is very comfortable and suited our mixed family group of Grandma, parents and teenagers. We loved it1

It is a very spacious and comfortable cottage, well equipped and tastefully decorated and furnished. We enjoyed sitting and eating in the lovely garden - the wisteria on the house was beautiful. It is a great location for exploring Ely (super cathedral), Cambridge and Sandringham and for going on wonderful country walks.
