We based ourselves at The Old Bakery to attend a wedding. We needed somewhere that catered for ourselves, our two sons (one with his wife) and our elderly parents. The Old Bakery was just the job, there were one or two difficulties for our elderly parents, such as the stairs and the quality of the TV, but we recognise these are specific in nature and certainly for the rest of the family none of these things detracted from our stay. The place was clean and well equipped - Many thanks for a lovely time.

A lovely, large cottage in a lovely village. We felt secluded yet we were within walking distance of a great, dog friendly pub, a shop, and walks all around the village.

Excellent base. Great accommodation for three generations. The only thing lacking was a bottle opener!

After a very long tiresome journey (due to road works, accidents etc) We found the Old Bakery an exceptionally clean, homely and well presented holiday cottage, although we did notice that perhaps the cottage needs a little attention, there was a cracked window in the lounge, curtain tie backs missing etc, and despite a radiator missing through a leak the owners kindly left an electric fire should we have required it. Very evident it is a lovely place to stay though, shame on the limited amenities however we can highly recommend The Anchor pub and Restaurant, excellent food and great service.
