Love the barn & the open plan design. The location is perfect for Stow, Broadway, Bourton on the Water & Burford etc. If there is a downside there are no walks of any note from the Barn. We have been twice before so we do like The Oaks. The double bed matress is too hard for our liking so we had thought that we take a matress topper with us this time.

I think it should be made clear that the second bedroom is a mezzanine level with low sloping ceiling. Ok for children but not ideal for adults

Fine place to stay, but a bit noisy in the morning due to farm work.

The Oaks is great for a secluded, quiet and peaceful base to explore The Cotswolds and surrounding areas.

Great place to stay, well equipped cottage. One double bed room ground floor. With a bath room with separate shower unit. The extraction fan was rather loud on a night, so we found the off switch above the bathroom door. The up stair area had quiet a steep trended stair case, but had a child gate top and bottom. It had three singles, but in places was difficult to get to the beds because of the beams. This did add character to the place. The build had great under floor heating, the control unit in the kitchen soonworked out how it worked with google. The cottage came with wifi, but rather slow. We used our phones as the 4G signal was very good. Over all would stay again, if we come back to the area.

We had a great time here! The location is out of the way so means you have to drive to get anywhere but that was fine with us. We go away each year to different locations and I don't think this place can be beaten in terms of value for money. My only gripes would be a lack of any kind of welcome pack telling us how to operate washing machine, heating, local pubs and places to visit etc. Lastly, the main bedroom only has light coloured vertical blinds meaning the room is quite bright in the mornings.
