I did enjoy my stay at the Nook. The outside space and surrounding area were beautiful. I was fascinated by the canal and locks just a few minutes walk away.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay in The Nook. The cottage was a perfect retreat for a couple with beautiful countryside views. Our only issue was we did not realise the cottage was part of the owners beautiful home and so we did not have the privacy we expected. The owners conservatory looked straight into The Nook.

Cracking little cottage. Lovely walks by the canal. As I took my dog with me I had to get in the car and drive to a pub to eat. There is a pub at the top of the lane but not dog friendly . Overall score though 10 out of 10

A really lovely cottage, spotlessly clean. The location is perfect - exceptionally tranquil in the Shropshire countryside and close to the Shropshire Union canal from where you can walk into Market Drayton along the towpath - a lovely walk in itself.

Absolutely beautiful little cottage, perfect for a romantic break. The owner was very welcoming. Interesting walk to the nearest pub but thankfully the cottage had a torch. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Great cottage.Would go again. Only problem you couldn't regulate the heating.Although you had small gas fire in room, bathroom & kitchen could be quite cold.

It was nice to get away from a built up area. There was nothing but fields and birds singing and a lovely canal up the road. Watched a few barges go through the lock.

Lovely short break to see family living locally, cottage small very compact and enough for two, everything to hand and so clean and well presented. Excellent views over the fields and able to see the wildlife . The only difficulty we had was getting bags from car to the nook over the grave/shingle pathway. Could do with some brighter lighting from car to cottage in the dark nights. Our dog was well cared for here and was able to access the fields. The owner was love to meet and very welcoming. The directions online to the cottage from the m6 could have been a little more explanatory, due which part of the country you are travelling from. There were lots to places to eat out and get takeaway food from market drayton. The four all pub, very near, basic foods, as was the gingerbread eatery on the way in, however there are some lovely others pub/restaurants in the local area. We visit the very large garden centre a few miles from the cottage and this was really worth the visit.

Studio cottage was ok. ALet a little cramped for 2 people. Particularly trying to relax on the tiny sofa. Mattress was old and noisy. It has a little terrace for sitting in the garden but it over looks the owners conservatory so not too private. The path from the parking space to the front door is unlit and very dark for using the sreps. Spotlessly clean.
