This ground floor studio apartment enjoys stunning views, and is located in an AONB, just a mile from local amenities.

The Mission Hall (ref 30511) and Sursum Vestry (ref 30512) sit side by side, yet are both individually private, fenced off between the two. Both have far reaching views through the trees. Situated within the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and only 4 miles from Bath, famous for its Georgian architecture and sweeping crescents, the abbey, Pulteney Bridge and the Roman spa baths. Lacock village and abbey are nearby. Local amenities are only 1 mile away in the pretty village of Box, and nearby there is a regular bus service into the city of Bath. There are many local attractions within a short distance. Visit the historic towns of Corsham and Bradford on Avon, and within a short drive of the World Heritage sites of Stonehenge, Avebury and the Cotswolds. Numerous National Trust Properties, stately homes such as Longleat House Safari Park, Stourhead and Corsham Court. Excellent walking, riding, boating, fishing and golfing can be found in the immediate area. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

All on ground floor: Living/dining room/kitchen with patio doors, beams and 2 steps down to 1 double bed. Wet room with toilet.

It was such a lovely stay! Great location. Only issues were the fridge light was temperamental and the pillows on the bed sadly were very uncomfortable to sleep on. Everything else about the property was fantastic, we had a great time and would definitely stay again.

Mission Hall was a great base to head into Bath and beyond. The Comfort , equipment and cleanliness where fantastic. Sofa was broken hence only giving 9 out of 10. But otherwise everything was perfect. I would most definitely stay here again and would recommend it.

We absolutely loved this little place. Tucked away felt private and it was a perfect size inside. Had just what we needed with some milk, eggs, coffee and tea to start us off. Shops/town/places to see within short driving distance. Overall a beautiful little stay, was perfect for us and we would 100% definetly return again Thank you very much for having this little cottage to share.

Excellent property and stay, were welcomed and had a basket with a few items of food to start us off which was very nice. Will be back with our new puppy next year.

High step's up and down to the bed which wasn't very comfortable. The sofa had a broken frame and was so uncomfortable we went out and bought cushions to try to make it more comfortable sadly to no avail. We left after 4 nights although we had booked and paid for seven. On the plus side the bathroom was beautiful

We had a lovely weekend here when we came to Bath for a wedding. The cottage is incredibly sweet and cosy and the location is very calm, rural and peaceful. There's even a cute hamper on arrival with a little welcome pack. Perfect little retreat for a few days. We will definitely be returning.

Whilst the cottage was very clean and the equipment excellent, the outside was in need of attention. The building itself was ok, but situated beneath mature sycamore trees, the concrete area was permanently covered in sticky debris from the trees. This was carried into the building every time anyone set foot over the threshold. This we found a big problem, and much sweeping up was needed. Hanging space was very limited. As older people, we also found the sofa very uncomfortable, but the bed, although very high off the floor was wonderfully comfortable. A mention in the brochure of the property being in very hilly country, could be helpful, to those like ourselves, who have slight trouble walking. Definitely an area for the fit and healthy. Having stated the faults, it was a very cosy cottage, unique in its history.

Idillic place for our long weekend break, only down side was nowhere to put your clothes but for a short break not a problem.
