Spacious property, could easily accommodate 6. Lovely to have access to boats in the evenings. Birds were great particularly the peacocks,(lived hearing them call), but volume of poo outweighed novelty by 4th day as couldn't even sit out with a cup of tea without being mobbed. Mattresses were past their use by date and definitely need replacing. Oven completely knackered. Cockerils fighting and crowing from very early morning- combined with mattress discomfort sleep was a problem. Owners very pleasant.

My family and I stayed here for three nights for my birthday celebrations, the welcome was so informative and very friendly too. The cottage was very quirky and very safe too, as I took my year old granddaughter and she loved it and all the animals too. The location was perfect for us. We did go out of season so a lot of places were closed but still plenty to do, the weather was perfect for March too so beaches there are lovely. My first visit to the Isle of Wight and I am so in love with it already, we will be returning in the summer time, to see all the attractions we missed this trip. Thanks so much for the loan of your cottage, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit there.

Spacious and comfortable cottage although a little tired. Peacocks, geese and hens wander the site. Lovely to watch. Unfortunately the 5 cockerels started up in the early hours.

What can I say but 10 out of 10 all the way. Cottage is lovely, would love to live there permanently, spotlessly clean and tidy, excellent value for money, very comfortable just like home from home. The location is excellent as it is centrally placed in the middle of the Island only takes a maximum of half an hour to get to anywhere on the Island. The staff are all very kind and helpful nothing is too much trouble for them. Well done to Calbourne Water Mill, have stayed before this visit and will definitely stay again.
