Absolutely beautiful location, total peace and quiet, being there in spring was an absolute delight. The pond and the family of five goslings as well as all manor of woodland birds all added the already perfect surroundings of Mill Cottage. We were a party of eight and the accommodation was ample for our needs.

We stayed here for Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We brought our own tree and decorations and although the weather, understandably, was not its best, the cottage was warm and cosy, and there was plenty of room for everyone and a little dog. Kitchen was extremely well equipped and stocked with basic essentials, like sugar, salt, tea, dishwasher tablets, etc. We even had a welcome plate of mince pies waiting! The Landlady was more than helpful. Would definitely recommend this cottage!

We had a brilliant family holiday there. There was plenty of room for everyone. We loved the house and the surroundings. The owner was very friendly and accommodating and allowed us to delay our departure when we had a medical emergency with our youngest granddaughter on the last evening.

A fabulous spot and a real home from home. The owner is delightful and we had a wonderful stay. Might be a bit remote for some - about a mile to walk to nearest pub/ village but also well positioned for a range things to do.
