We were there for a wedding that was only a few miles away but it took a trip or two to learn the lanes. Exceptionally friendly and helpful service from our host. Really good showers in both bathrooms and beds that helped you sleep. The location would be ideal for a longer stay with local touring activity. Kitchen is well thought out and nothing too much trouble when we asked for additional or different items.

Absolutely beautiful location, total peace and quiet, being there in spring was an absolute delight. The pond and the family of five goslings as well as all manor of woodland birds all added the already perfect surroundings of Mill Cottage. We were a party of eight and the accommodation was ample for our needs.

We stayed here for Christmas and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We brought our own tree and decorations and although the weather, understandably, was not its best, the cottage was warm and cosy, and there was plenty of room for everyone and a little dog. Kitchen was extremely well equipped and stocked with basic essentials, like sugar, salt, tea, dishwasher tablets, etc. We even had a welcome plate of mince pies waiting! The Landlady was more than helpful. Would definitely recommend this cottage!
