A charming place with bags of character that was an excellent base for exploring Devon, Dorset and Somerset.

An ideal location for our weekend to catch up with the family that live in Taunton. Beautiful countryside with walks through the grounds.

Lovely area, great for dog walking and you get the freedom of the land and a nice welcome from the owner who gave information about the area. The Mill has loads of charming character however could be cleaner, it set off my allergies all week especially the lounge for some reason. Dusty. It appeared only what was visible was cleaned but under beds and in the sofa and shelves were neglected. There were mice in the kitchen which I suppose is expected when situated on a farm but still. No welcome pack. Slightly overpriced for what you get.

The cottage was full of character and surrounded by fields with lots of wildlife. The pond was lovely and had its own rowing boat. The stairs could be a little steep for some. The cooker was a little temperamental but didn't spoil our stay.

Gorgeous old building with tons of character. No problems for us but people need to be aware of steep staircases and garden not being suitable for some. Also kitchen facilities not the best, but that said we loved the place and thoroughly enjoyed our stay

This is a wonderful cottage in a beautiful and secluded setting. The beds were very comfortable and the amenities were generally good. We were fairly comfortable in the cottage but my husband did struggle with the small door casings and low ceiling height on the stairs as he is over 6ft, but this is to be expected in a property of this age. Although we appreciated the rustic feel to the cottage we found it to be quite dirty, with lots of dust and cobwebs throughout the cottage, and both the kitchen and shower needed to be cleaned before we could use them. We also had to report that two of the rings on the cooker were not working and the light switch in the on-suite bathroom was broken.
