We love this place so much, we go there every year. Lovely village, fabulous location. Good weather always helps to make the most of outdoors leisure and activities, but there is plenty to see and do in the area in both fair and foul weather and the house is cosy and comfortable if staying in. Some of the furnishings are getting a little tired and would benefit from a quality upgrade, but are not so bad as to detract from the enjoyment of the place for fans such as us.

The overwhelming benefit to the property was the location, it was unfortunate that we arrived during very unsettled weather with high winds. Being an older property with no double glazing it was like being in a wind tunnel. Equipment was OK but beds (mattresses) need changing. It was a shame that the same comments had been written in the visitor book for the last couple of years but nothing done to resolve the issue.
