From a touch of luxury to characterful heritage, experience one of our truly inspiring holiday properties.

This romantic hideaway is a couples retreat. Relax in front of the wood-burning stove and take in the countryside views.

Two 18th-century converted stone barns set in a private valley, 1200ft up in the Cambrian Mountains, and situated on a smallholding with 24 acres of forest, ancient trees, little streams, natural gardens and adjoining 2000 acres of heather-clad moorland. The properties are situated in the grounds of the old farmhouse, in which the owners live. A haven for nature lovers, walkers, those seeking tranquillity and couples looking for a romantic hideaway. This is a private and peaceful setting, far away from the noise of traffic and the stress of city life. Surrounded by the border towns of Knighton, Presteigne, Ludlow, Leominster and Hay-on-Wye, this is a wonderful base to explore this diverse and flourishing region. There is also a great folk and country music scene locally. The coast can be reached within 1 hour 20 minutes.
Llethrau Barn (0F2) is a stunning ’chalet barn’, which boasts atmospheric interiors, a beautiful greenhouse/garden breakfast room and a writers desk. Llethrau Long Barn (OF6) is a beautiful converted barn which has a large oak dining table, antique chairs and a writers desk with inspirational views. Both properties include a variety of books and board games, and have shared use of an undercover area for storing bicycles. Shop and pub 3 miles.

If you want to get away from it all, without mobile phone or internet connection then it is the place for you. If you want to visit surrounding places of interest, it is quite remote and it is off the beaten track making journeys quite. The photos of the cottage need updating. The owner is very friendly and helpful.

This cottage is perfect for relaxing and retreating from the world. The location is very calm and peaceful, and the owners have created such a haven perfect for art and book lovers. Really stylish, while comfortable too. Can't recommend highly enough.

Amazing place. If you want remote relaxation, this is the place. The bed was extremely comfortable. Loved making the fires and being engulfed by nature. Tom is a wonderful host who couldn't do enough for me. A proper escape from the world. Brilliant.

A really lovely and magical spot with a delightful host, who will do anything to make your stay enjoyable. Sitting in the barn feels like being outside in the garden because of the picture windows.
