Lovely location, clean with everything we needed. Hot tub would not heat up and no instructions were left which was a big let down as the hot tub was the main reason I booked the Lodge. Lovely quiet surroundings and cosy. I would visit again.

It was a great escape and lovely location with a great shower. If we had to be picky the shower could have been cleaner, but it was a very late booking.

We had a lovely 2 night break away. Great location, beautiful scenery and very relaxing. The Lodge is an ideal place to go to recharge your batteries as the saying goes. We highly recommend a visit and wouldn't hesitate a return in the future. The only suggestion we would make is to have a sign on the gate so that you know you are at the right place

Absolutely perfect and stunning views. Was lovely to have a break away from the children. Felt at home and couldn't have asked for anywhere better. Thank you to the owners for giving us a perfect break.

The lodge was really homely and clean, had everything we needed for a quiet, relaxing getaway. We did not use the hot tub and there was no instruction manual and I was not comfortable leaving it on overnight and was not aware it needed so long to heat up. We would definitely stay again

We had to put the oven on for warmth. With adequate heating I would have scored it much higher. location however out of this world. Loved it.

The cottage was not ready when we arrived and there was no signal to ring the owner. They lived nearby so we went and it was sorted out very quickly. It was a lovely weekend and we would have liked to open both patio doors as the photograph showed but one was locked with no key. However, neither of these issues spoilt the weekend and we would be happy to return.

A great place, would definitely return. A very quiet peaceful location. Great for walks and close to Stratford on Avon. Lots of farm shops and nice pubs around too. Could to with a lick of paint, but other than that a perfect place to get away from it all. Note that the hot tub is an inflatable Aqua-spa, not a permenant fixture which we were a little dissopointed with at first but it did the job well enough! Take a couple of extra towels if you plan to book the hot tub. Nice touch of tea and coffee ready for arrival. Book it!

Our stay at The Lodge was a very enjoyable. It is in a lovely location, that is to say well away from everything - which needs to be thought about when it comes to food shopping. It is spacious and equipped well enough for a short stay. The main room is very nice with a large open-plan kitchen, dining area and comfortable couch. The bedroom has a double bed, bedside cabinets and a wardrobe (which I'll come back to) and the bathroom is roomy and much bigger than I was expecting for this type to accommodation. The Lodge is simply decorated and having read previous comments the owners have obviously taken on many of those comments and spent time and money up-grading and giving it that TLC that had been spoken about - well done! That having been said there are just a few small points that I hope that the owners would appreciate me pointing out. The wardrobe in the bedroom needs a good looking at as it sways from side-to-side when you open the door. We where a bit worried about hanging too much in it. A few small nails in the back to make it ridged will soon fix that. One of the rings on the cooker doesn't work - not too big an issue for a short stay when only cooking the odd meal as the other three rings work fine. The Lodge would benefit from a bit more heating when the weather is cooler. The first night we stayed it was very cool and the small heater didn't really warm the place up much. However later in summer this would not be an necessity. I hope that these few VERY MINOR adverse comments don't deter anyone from booking as it is a really nice place, secluded and over-looking a pond, next to meadows and fields full of wildlife such as hares, grouse, pheasant, even a visiting heron. It would be lovely to re-visit here again.
