Comfy, cosy cottage, spot-on for couples and very dog-friendly. The only criticism I have is that it was quite dusty; this may, in part, be due to the Woodburner. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it!

you can see all the hard work taken to renovate this lovely property. everything you need for a comfortable holiday. appreciate the throws left for dogs. we had a log fire one night just for effect. the cottage has such thick walls I cant imagine ever being cold there. the church nearby is well worth a visit. the locals are all friendly and eager to talk to you. alas we never went to the local pub as we don't like leaving the dog outside.(our choice) very comfortable beds. all in all a good time was had by all. marilyn &Richard.

A fine cottage for two (or a single person!) with a great view from the window. It was wonderful to have the lounge/diner upstairs looking towards the flank of Pendle Hill. I found everything I needed in the cottage , including a hair dryer which is not often found in cottages. Great walking country all around with a path just outside . Very nice village , and very peaceful. There is a marvellous pub in the village selling good food and five real ales.

Initial impressions were poor as the immediate impact was the smell of damp. There was too much clutter and the whole place felt like it needed a good clean and a fresh coat of paint. Be aware that pets are allowed. Cream carpets could do with a deep clean. Location and external look of the place fantastic. With a little TLC it could be a great holiday location.
