An excellent well equipped cottage, ideal for the two of you ( and four legged friends) , the cottage was extremely comfortable and Jane was a very charming. helpful host. The bedroom is on a gallery with a steep set of stairs, this is mentioned in the description of the cottage so don't ignore this. The farm also offers an area for camping and there wash/shower facilities are right next to this cottage, this does seem to affect your water pressure when in use and it can be noisy. The farm is in a lovely setting with superb views, it is not far to drive before you have a choice of walks across the countryside and along Hadrian's Wall, the town of Brampton ( 15 minute drive) has all you will need for provisions / banks & pubs.

Had such a lovely stay here for our honeymoon. The owners were lovely and welcoming. Even leaving us some welcome cakes and tea. It was about 15 mins drive to the nearest town which was only slightly inconvenient. However the cottage was just as described. Would stay here again
