It needs some things updating and replacing..cooking equipment..leather sofa were eitheir grotty or in need of replacment so it defo didn.t give a romantic feel..some attention to detail needed in order to protect the property as a ongoing business.

Had such a lovely stay here for our honeymoon. The owners were lovely and welcoming. Even leaving us some welcome cakes and tea. It was about 15 mins drive to the nearest town which was only slightly inconvenient. However the cottage was just as described. Would stay here again

We've had a lovely relaxing week & were very lucky with the weather. Plenty of good walks with the dogs. Hadrians Wall & forts very close by. Lots of good pubs & a beautiful cottage to come back to after a hard days exploring! Our only suggestion would be a shower screen or curtain over the bath. The owners Jane & Bruce are very friendly & we wouldn't hesitate in coming back.

The joinery is a lovely quiet cottage in a remote area and very quaint. We really enjoyed our stay and our two dogs had a great time also. When we arrived Jane was sadly on holiday but her friends and family were so helpful and accommodating. We did see Jane on the last day who was lovely. If you want a great location with stunning views this is the place to visit. You do need a car to get about.
