In superb locations and beautiful settings. Cottages4you gives you a fantastic range of hand-picked properties with quality you can rely on.

Explore Shropshire from this idyllic location, and visit the ever popular Ironbridge Gorge and museums, easily accessible from the property.

This stunning detached holiday lodge is located in a superb position, on the same site as the largest waterwheel powering a corn mill, still working in England today and virtually unaltered since the 18th century - still in ownership of the same family for over 250 years. Set in the idyllic Shropshire countryside, deep in a wooded valley, crossed by the 19th-century viaduct, this is one of Shropshire’s finest locations. Visitors to the area are a 1-mile walk from the town centre, where you will find High Town and Low Town, plus the famous cliff railway. Other attractions nearby include Rays farm, Cosford Museum, Dudmaston Hall NT and the ever popular Ironbridge gorge and museums. There are good road links to the rest of south Shropshire including Ludlow, Much Wenlock and Shrewsbury, where you can enjoy anything from castles, festivals, and horse racing to the events at Theatre Severn. Golf and fishing nearby. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant ¼ mile.

Ground floor: Living room. Dining room. Kitchen. Separate toilet. First floor: 2 bedrooms: 1 double (5ft) with en-suite bathroom with bath, shower attachment and toilet, 1 twin with en-suite shower room and toilet.

Gas central heating (underfloor on ground floor), electricity, bed linen and towels included. Cot, highchair and stairgate. Freeview TV. DVD. CD. iPod dock. Electric cooker. Microwave. Washing machine. Tumble dryer. Dishwasher. Freezer. Wi-fi. Enclosed garden with patio and furniture. Portable barbecue. Ample parking. No smoking. NB: Stream in grounds.

We loved the setting and we loved the cottage - close enough to the town to access amenities, but far enough away and secluded to achieve the peace and quiet that we desired. We would definitely go back. We enjoyed visiting the surrounding area too and walking up the very big snow dusted hills.

This is a lovely property. The furnishings and equipment are all of a good quality and well-maintained (as well as being tastefully decorated in mostly neutral yet complementary colours). The bed was wide and surprisingly comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped and had everything we needed for the whole week's stay. The large windows in the lounge and kitchen/dining area overlook a stream and a bank of trees - it's a beautiful rural view. We would happily stay here again. Be aware that there are sloping ceilings in both of the upstairs bathrooms. This isn't an issue for having a bath in the main en-suite or a shower in the second bedroom's en-suite. However, gentlemen, be aware that it's quite difficult to stand at either of the upstairs toilets as the wall slopes towards you. If you are a chap over about 5 ft 6 inches tall, you will have to lean backwards a little bit! Or use the downstairs toilet. Just one other thing to be watchful of. If you have a dog and wish to walk your dog on an evening, be aware that the roads and walks nearby are very dark. The main road has a very narrow pavement and the cars drive by quite fast. You will definitely need a couple of torches and to keep your dog on a tight leash to walk along the road. Alternatively, go past the mill along the public right of way - this is car-free, but also very dark and can be very muddy indeed!

Lovely cottage in a beautiful setting, well equipped, homely and comfortable, in a rural location yet close enough to town to walk should you wish to. Very much enjoyed the stay. Good walks to be had as well as places to visit and to eat at. Excellent value for money.

Lovely home from home. Pretty much everything I needed for my week away for a work convention in Telford, spent the rest of the time relaxing until my return to family and responsibilities in London. Was sad to leave.

A lovely cottage with all you need and very close to lots of wonderful places to visit. Would definitely recommend and go back. our black lab loved the walks by the river and in the field near by, just be careful of main road! Didn't get to meet the owner but she was very helpful as we arrived late.

Mostly perfect. Issue with slanting ceilings and banging heads. Family were all very welcoming and our tour of the mill was amazing. We bought some flour and the cakes and crumbles we have made with it were delicious. Would definitely like to return.
